The frame is part of this artwork reflecting the theme of Work of Nature Work of Man. The outer recycled wood frame has not been tidied up, it bears the marks made by man - nail holes and knocks, as well as rain stains and other marks made by nature while it was outdoors. It has been colour washed with water based paint to compliment the paint within.
The inner white lacquered frame in contrast, is man made glossy and hard with no imperfections.
