Part of the Work of Nature Work of Man theme I am inspired by this bench is on the London Embankment opposite the Houses of Parliament. It is grand and very detailed, a work of art influenced by Egyptian symbolism, that many people will not even notice. The metal has taken on a patina of age affected by pollution in the centre of London and the constant impact of rain and sun on its surface.
