Liz Hankins: Work of Nature Work of Man

My passion for architectural detail, patterns and textures has combined here with my love of nature and ecology. The arrogance of man with so called 'permanent' works of art carved out of rock and stone is ignored by the gentle strength of nature in all her glory. Slowly creeping and climbing, nibbling and staining at the sculpted lines until a new work of art is created. The symbiotic relationship of the creativity of man and nature makes something poetic and ultimately much more powerful. A message for our time?
